Cedarvale Wind Project

The Cedarvale Wind Project will harness some of New Mexico’s best wind resources in Torrance County. The project would use wind turbine generators to produce up to 1,100MW of electricity, and include a 345 kV overhead generation tie transmission line approximately 20 miles long within a 200-foot-wide right of way, and up to four collector substations. The project is projected to be located on private and state lands situated about 8 miles northwest of Corona and 15 miles southeast of Willard in Torrance County, New Mexico.

Agua Fria Energy (AFE) Cedarvale Wind, LLC has filed an application with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission requesting location approval of the AFE Cedarvale Wind Project.
